Empathy & Acceptance
We strive first to understand before offering correction. Receive the person before you critique the work — you cannot rightly correct what you have not yet understood.
It gathers every framework before it — money’s portability, the market’s reach, the ledger’s memory, industry’s scale, the network’s connection — and turns them toward impact: a system as personal and local as the very first trade, and now immutable.
Measured where it's created, and credited to the one who creates it.
Rooted in real people, places, and consequences — not distant markets.
Recorded permanently on the Impact-Base — witnessed, never traded away.
Civicognita is not an organization seeking power or profit. We are stewards of an idea whose time has come: that the economy must serve life, dignity, and planetary well-being.
Our mandate is to develop, protect, and nurture the infrastructure required for an impact-based economy to emerge and thrive. We enable participation, not dependence.
Born from the recognition that traditional economic models systematically fail to account for true value.
An economy where impact measurement, incentives, and accountability align with planetary flourishing.
Not a corporation, not a government, not a religion. A civic intelligence infrastructure for the future.
Everything Civicognita builds — the frameworks, the Civic Commons, the I-Corp, the measurement itself — exists to move these six lines, and is answerable to them.

“Governance exists to serve people, communities, and planetary well-being — not the accumulation of wealth or power.”
— Civicognita Foundation
The philosophical and economic core of everything we do. Impactivism recognizes that traditional economic models systematically fail to measure, incentivize, or protect what truly matters.
The philosophy that economic and social systems should be organized around the creation, measurement, and fair distribution of impact.
Current systems externalize costs, concentrate power, and optimize for extraction rather than regeneration. They measure wealth, not well-being.
Through transparent measurement, aligned incentives, and distributed accountability structures that reward genuine value creation.
Rigorous, transparent systems to quantify real-world impact across social, environmental, and economic dimensions.
Economic structures that reward impact creation and internalize previously externalized costs.
Distributed governance ensuring participants remain responsible to communities and planetary well-being.
Our principles describe the economy we seek. Our culture describes who we must be while building it.
These are not five peer values. Truth is the bedrock — and each of the four is Truth aimed at a different relationship: people, the work, obstacles, the whole.
A dedication to the pursuit of Truth is the bedrock of everything else, because ignorance is the root of all harm. The harms we exist to end — poverty, non-consensual exploitation, crime — are what ignorance produces: costs kept hidden, harm left unmeasured, interdependence unseen.
It is why the machinery exists. 0TRUECOST exposes true delivered cost; Impactium and Impactinomics measure impact that was previously unmeasured; Aionima delivers truth to each person who asks; and COA⇄COI keeps an honest, accountable trace behind every action.
“To pursue Truth is to refuse comfortable ignorance in ourselves first.”
We strive first to understand before offering correction. Receive the person before you critique the work — you cannot rightly correct what you have not yet understood.
Perfection is unattainable; it is the process of reaching for it that matters. We fail fast and forward, and stay open to feedback — feedback is simply truth about the work, and we go looking for it.
“Impossible” only means difficult — and we love difficult opportunities. “Can’t” is an ugly word: usually a limit assumed rather than a limit found.
None of us win unless we all win. Working together to raise the tide, so all boats may be lifted, is paramount to the mission — impact, not profit; shared prosperity over private extraction.
Warmth ↔ standards ↔ courage ↔ solidarity — each holding the next honest, all resting on Truth.

Measurement only changes behaviour when it is durable, verifiable, and shared. Impactium is the protocol layer built for exactly that — a chain where the measurable good you create is the unit of value, and the true cost of delivering it is put back on the books.
The network has not started. The protocol, its documentation, and the decision register behind it are public and building in the open.
A permanent, non-transferable record of the verified good you create. It is the chain’s native measure of worth, and it is never traded — you cannot sell it, send it, or lose it.
The true accumulated cost of taking something from idea to reality and putting it into someone else’s hands. Not a second unit: what a thing cost to make always travels with it, while what it cost to deliver may be passed on — at the price of a smaller bonus.
Every state-changing event the chain emits feeds a durable, verifiable graph that people and AI can both read — indexed with provenance proofs, so a claim can be checked without re-running the chain.
We do not trade the good you do; we account for the cost of what is delivered.
I-Corp is not a legal structure or ownership model. It is a classification for organizations that voluntarily commit to operating within the impact-based economic framework.
Classification represents alignment with Civicognita's principles. Organizations retain their independence while contributing to the collective infrastructure of the impact economy.

The top-level organization and steward of Impactivism — it holds the frameworks, the Civic Commons, and the I-Corp classification, and it defines and drives the needs the organizations below exist to meet.
